Its always good working for Arthog Outreach and this week was no exception!
The Wrekin is a prominent land mark in Shropshire and I visit the summit fairly regularly with groups. Sometimes, just for fun and other times for educational purposes. Our theme for today was mountain formations and myths and legends. We found out that the Wrekin is a very old mountain. It rose out of the ground through volcanic action and is quite famous in Shropshire Folk Lore.
These Year 4 & 5 group had a fab time and really enjoyed the views from the top and were keen to identify some key landmarks using the top scope on the summit
