Working For Arthog Outreach

The think about it – do it – make it better cycle

Another good couple of days working for Arthog Outreach, which has seen predominantly leading team building sessions, something I have come to realise I am exceedingly good at.

Year 3 / Year 4 Team Building
In the morning, I delivered team building challenges and games to a Year 3 Group through the process of Plan – Do – Review cycle. We played lots of games (hoop challenge, balance tray, keeper of the keys, alphabet to name but a few). As a reward for the efforts we finished off with a few traversing games on the climbing wall.

For the afternoon group, the team building was delivered through the vehicle of climbing session, with the group having personal challenge (how high they climbed) and then taking responsibility for each other when belaying. A very enjoyable session and hopefully the group will take some of the things they learnt back into the classroom with them.

OAA Team Building Afternoon
We had four schools involved in afternoon of team building and climbing challenges and a mighty fine afternoon it was too. It was really nice to see the young people getting stuck into the activities and trying to do the best they could. Judging by the feedback received everyone had a good time including the staff. Some were so impressed with our activity provision they have been in touch for us to run additional activities for them. A job well done in my opinion.
