The final week before the October half term saw me leading Orienteering and Caving sessions for Arthog Outreach.
Orienteering
Two sessions teaching orienteering skills to a Year 4 group who fully engaged with the activity. As a result, they quickly learnt the fundamental skills which in turn allowed them to find the markers. The young people really enjoyed the activity and working independently. A job well done in my opinion.
Caving at Ogof Llanymynech
The last caving session in October and the young people were excited to be going on an underground adventure. We wiggled and squirmed our way through various passages telling stories along the way. The firm favourite was the tale of ‘Blind Ned,.
