Instructing For Arthog Outreach

Its always fun working for Arthog Outreach and towards the end of September, I was leading a caving trip to Ogof Llanymynech and a minibeast hunt on Earls Hill.

Caving at Ogof Llanymynech
Its a good job that I enjoy caving as I seem to be doing it quite a bit this term. The cave works its own magic and the young people simply enjoy exploring and seeing what they can find. No two trips are the same but all enjoy the story telling about my caving mentor Al.

Devils Coach Horse Beetle – what a cracker

Minibeast Hunt at Earls Hill
If you look hard enough you will find nature all around us and in this case were looking very hard to see if we could find any minibeasts. Our searching paid dividends as we fund a Devils Coach Horse Beetle which the young people were very impressed with. We also made it to the top of Earls Hill and were treated with some splendid views of the countryside.
