Mountain Walk up Snowdon

The group at Pen Y Pass

Over the weekend, I had been asked by ProAdventure to lead a party of school girls up Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), which at 1085m is the highest peak in Wales. The girls were dressed as cows to raise money for a charity that sends cows to villages in Africa.

In what has to be one of the wettest days for a long time we tackled the Pyg and Miners track to make our ascent and descent respectively. I’m pleased to say that despite the adverse weather conditions all the group with their PMA (positive mountain attitude) made it to the summit and were rightly pleased with their achievements.
