Passing the puddle of truth

Passing the puddle of truth

Toward the end of January, I was working for my good friends at Arthog Outreach providing a day of team building for Year 3’s and 4’s and a trip to Ogof Llanymynech for Year 5’s on the Friday.

I had a thoroughly great two days and the highlight for me was taking quite a nervous group caving. With a little bit of encouragement, a little bit of empathy all the group made it to the shaft chamber. Here some brave souls opted to go in to Fiveways Chamber while the rest of the group waited for a few minutes as we emerged slightly damp after passing over the puddle of truth!!

As we left the cave one of the most nervous about the caving experience walked up to me and said it was the best day ever an they felt really proud at what they had achieved. Another job well done in my opinion.
