Instructing For Arthog Outreach

Gorse petals - a nutty taste that is not everyone's cup of tea.

Gorse petals – a nutty taste that is not everyone’s cup of tea.

Another week of activity for Arthog Outreach which has seen me leading woodland walks and a canoe trip on the River Severn.

Woodland Walks (Years 1 & 2)
Two very different days with two very different groups of young people. We did the usual foraging (ransoms, gorse petals & wood sorrel) along with identifying and following animal tracks and lots of splashing in the puddles and squelching through the mud.

Canoe Trip on the River Severn
A cracking trip using rafted canoes between Buidwas and Ironbridge pretending to be Anglo Saxon invaders looking for a suitable place to set up our camp.
