Instructing For Arthog Outreach

Wild garlic - yum yum in my tum

Wild Garlic – yum yum in my tum

On Tuesday & Wednesday, I was working for Arthog Outreach working with a Year 2 group looking at where our food comes from. Our adventures for the day started with foraging for food in the woodland environment (wild garlic, gorse petals, wood sorrel & nettles) and of course having lots of fun sploshing through the mud.

As the day progressed, we moved into the farming environment where we where able to see the young lambs and fields that where just starting to sprout their crops.

However, the highlight of the day for most was splashing in the stream at the centre to clean off the muddy wellies.
