DofE Bronze Expedition Training

On the stepping stones

On the stepping stones

Last weekend, I was working on a Bronze DofE programme for my friends at Rich Adventure┬áin South Derbyshire. The first day of the expedition was an accompanied walk to make sure the group could demonstrate the core skills from the bronze expedition framework. My team seemed very capable from the start and it wasn’t too long before I was able to take a back seat role and even let the group walk the last few kilometres into camp by themselves.

On the second day, I met with the group at various checkpoints and it was great to see them arrive on time looking extremely pleased with the efforts. Well I’m pleased to say the team successfully completed their expedition and I wish them well with their qualifying expedition later in the year.

If you would like CHMAS to provide this service for you and your group then please take a look at DofE Page to find out more by clicking here.
