Towards the beginning of October, I was working for friends at Peak Mountain Adventures Ltd by providing training day for a group working towards their Silver Expedition.
Our route for the day, began at Edale and involved a traverse along Kinder Scout via Grinds Brook and Crowden Tower before descending Jacobs Ladder and back to Edale. The group coped extremely well despite the miserable wet weather and misty conditions and really got to grips with compass bearings (to check direction), timings and looking out for each other. I wish them well with their future expeditions.
