Another Week of Activity Instruction For Arthog Outreach

Another lovely week working for Arthog Outreach where, I have been involved with the following activities.

Hillwalking at Earls Hill

What's over there edge?

What’s over there edge?

I had never been to this venue before and I have to say it was one of the best days out I’ve had a for a long time! We had a great time using maps, exploring in the woods, rolling down the hillside, finding edible plants and learning about the natural environment and simply enjoying the glorious view from the top of the hill.

All in all a great day working with some really nice young people.

Indoor Climbing
This was split day for two groups of Year 5’s and a great day it was too. Both groups really got stuck into the climbing and it wasn’t too long before they were clipping in and belaying with minimal supervision which was great to see.

Canoeing at Simpons Pool
A lovely couple of days working with two groups of Year 5’s. Each day was different and it was rally great to see the young people work so well together to load / unload the boats a get on with the fun bit of paddling the canoe.
