NCS Course Leading For Condover Hall

Testing and running the new raft sessions

Its been a fabulous three weeks facilitating the National Citizen Service (NCS) activity residential at Condover Hall with some 600 young people passing through. The NCS programme is open to all 16 and 17-year-olds in England and it helps to build their skills for work and life, while they take on new challenges and meet new friends. More information on how to get involved can be found here.

During their stay, the groups have been involved in abseiling, archery, bushcraft, climbing, high ropes challenges, raft building and team building activities. There has been much laughter and smiling faces and its been a pleasure to be involved in their NCS experience and I would like to wish them all a happy graduation.

Chris has also spent a little time facilitating a revised raft building experience and this was well received by the watersports team (who really experimented with alternative designs and pushed the rafts to their limits) and participants alike.
