On Monday, I was running the second day of a REC Level 2 First Aid Course for the Shropshire Wildlife Trust in Shrewsbury. After a quick recap of the first day it was on to fractures, dislocation and soft tissue damage before a few practical outdoor scenarios which proved to be very entertaining. The afternoon was spent looking at casualty management, triage, common illnesses and a little quiz. This generated quite a bit of discussion and it was lovely to have such thought provoking audience participation

The feedback from the course was exceptionally good and my favourite has to be:

“Informative engaging and fun. The best first aid course I’ve been on. I did not feel I was falling asleep. Great instruction and enjoyable and relevant for what I need.”
